Who created the international red cross?
In 1863 a group of five men organized the international red cross. The leader of the group was Jean-Henri Dunant also know as Henry. Later when they got the red cross international going the five men could no tall be involved with the group some of them left the group but still helped sometimes. Henry started to put up posters around the State asking for people to join. he got a bunch of people who wanted to join.

The red ross helped the war by helping the wounded solders on both sides of the war.

They are all over the place helping, training other people to become one of the red cross helpers/workers
Why did it happen?
It happened because henry didn't like seeing the people getting hurt and no one to help them when they were suffering.
Clara barton also had the same thinking about why she came up with red cross.
